Judy currently lives and works in Ohio with her husband Franklin, a retired film professor and sculptor. She is the mother of two artistic sons, a photographer and a painter.
An artist all her life, Judy studied printmaking and metalwork before moving to ceramics. She went on to maintain a ceramics studio in Iowa City for 26 years where she created functional pieces and sculptural work and for private and public spaces.
She continues to work in painting and has recently returned to clay sculpture.
